Originally from Italy, Clara’s creative journey in Interior Design started 15 years ago in Rome when she acquired her BA in Architecture. Before becoming inspired to focus her energy and attention on restaurant design, she did this from a completely fresh perspective, taking on a job as a pastry chef for the prestigious restaurant, George’s in Rome.
This led her to take up a course in Food Experience Design at Milan Politecnico in 2007, when she also successfully obtained her Master’s degree in Architecture. She is inspired continually through her travels and love for food and new experiences around the world. After two years in Rome consulting on various bars and restaurants, she moved to London to be part of the team opening the well-known Novikov in Mayfair. In London, she participated in several high residential projects, and one of them, 21 Orchard Court, won 2014 The International Design & Architecture Awards, Residential £1-£2.5 Million.
She designed Tresind and Carnival, awards winning Restaurants in Dubai and she was the Architect of the famous Bice International chain all over the world. After a year spent in Shanghai, getting into a different culture and views she came back to Dubai, where she currently lives, designing F&B all over the world.
Agustin Granell is a Senior Interior Designer, with an experience of more than twenty seven years. Born and raised in Spain, hospitality design was the natural response to his passion for design and travel. He always managed his own Architectural and Interior Design Studios specialized in High end hospitality, restaurants and bars, and commercial leisure areas in International environments.
Agustin’s responsibilities as a Principal of his company include conceptual and schematic design, space planning, project management, and coordination of design documents, along with on-site final installation.
One of Agustin’s many strengths is his ability to communicate with the owner, architect and all the required consultants to ensure the accuracy of each project.
The awards won in European and American Interior Design Competitions show high performance in articulating and aligning the client’s business strategies without forgetting creative flair and desire for continuous knowledge to improve and adapt in these challenging times around the world. With his long and significant experience he still believes in the power of looking for beauty, approaching it with honesty and subversive spirit.
